After doing the work of the Spiritual Warrior in Pisces, Mars has busted onto the scene in his ruling sign of Aries! He's red-hot, fully rejuvenated after completing one whole trip around the zodiac, and he's bringing Venus, the Goddess of Love, with him. If you think that spells "passion," you're absolutely right! This could be called the aspect of The Lovers, and could be called the aspect of The Impassioned Artist just as easily. These energies will peak in intensity this weekend and will remain prevalent through the beginning of March (it's also worth mentioning that this is the first of three times that Venus joins Mars in a conjunction in 2015; they meet again while Venus is retrograde in Leo on September 1 and when both planets are direct in Virgo on November 2).
Venus, the sparkling gem of the Heavens who gifts us with the ability to channel peace, balance, and grace, is also the planet of partnership. As Steven Forrest says, she's the planet that shows us how we can achieve inner balance through our relationship with elements outside of ourself: the harmony that comes from creating or enjoying beautiful music, artwork, or other aesthetic pleasures.
