Simple Agnostic Ceremony
Officiant: Today we celebrate the love between {Bride/Groom/Partner} and {Bride/Groom/Partner} as they cross the threshold into marriage together. This ceremony is the commemoration of the long-time love that has been shared and nourished between them as they embark on this sacred journey together, built on the foundations of love, compassion, and mutual respect.
As many a wise person has realized, love is the highest expression of our humanity, and the most fulfilling experience in this life. As Carl Sagan said, “The world is so exquisite with so much love and moral depth. We should remain grateful every day for the brief but magnificent opportunity that life provides. The sum of all our growth, our thinking and accomplishments is love.”
It is with great joy and reverence that we proceed.
